The Taj Lake Palace lies amidst the turquoise blue waters of the Pichola Lake. Surrounded by water on all sides, the apparition of white marble floating magically is a fairytale abode.
Steeped in history, this colourful boat once belonged to the Maharana of Udaipur, used to watch the incredible Gangaur festival and now a chance to relive royal history dating back 150 years.
Extensively featured in the classic James Bond film “Octopussy”, the Gangaur is the signature Taj Lake Palace dining experience.
At sunset enjoy signature cocktails at Saanjh, followed by a Boat cruise on Gangaur while you to take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding historical palaces, each sending their light dancing across the water. Accompanied by a unique private viewing of a Rajasthani cultural performance.
