Day 1

  • Arrive at Rome airport, where a private chauffeur waits for the journey to your hotel, Casa Monti Roma.
  • Meet your expert guide at the hotel early in the afternoon and begin the journey through Ancient Rome at the Imperial Fora, a series of monumental public squares that formed the centre of the Roman Republic and Empire.
  • Continue to Vicus Caprarius, ‘The City of Water’. Explore the underground archaeological ruins and an ancient water reservoir hidden beneath the Trevi Fountain.
  • Visit the Pantheon, the best-preserved Roman temple, and Piazza Navona, the Baroque square built on the remains of the Stadium of Domitian.

Day 2

  • Explore the Colosseum and Roman Forum with a private expert guide, beginning with the ancient amphitheatre where gladiators battled before 50,000 spectators.
  • Gain exclusive private access to the Chiesa di San Lorenzo in Miranda, a 17th Century Baroque church located inside the 2nd Century Temple of Antoninus and Faustina.
  • Discover part of a Roman street buried beneath the Basilica di San Clemente.

Day 3

  • Check out from the hotel following breakfast, and your chauffeur drives you to the Fondazione Torlonia.

  • Your driver will take you to Rome airport for your return home.
