Ensure you microchip your cat with a 15-digit 1OS 11784 compliant device and register your contact details with a licenced veterinarian prior to your travels.
More importantly, always remember to register your cat’s microchip with the country you are traveling to. Should your cat go missing within the country that you are visiting, the microchip will allow a vet or animal shelter to trace the missing cat back to you.
There is no need to stimulate or exercise cats’ muscles during flights. In fact, encouraging more movement can cause cats’ kidneys to work more, which can result in them needing the bathroom more frequently.
Instead, the cabin should be a safe and soft place for them to freely explore.
